What is TIPS?
TIPS is a national purchasing cooperative administered through Region 8 Education Service Center that provides Envirodredge customers access to pre negotiated contracts for discounted services, streamlining the process and saving time and money compared to traditional methods of individual bidding.
The benefits of TIPS include:
- Cost-effective purchasing - by increasing purchasing power, TIPS secures better pricing from vendors, rather than relying on individual negotiation!
- Streamlined process - members gain access to pre-negotiated contracts, saving time and energy.
- Wide range of members - TIPS Awards are offered to many public entities, including schools, cities, state agencies, non-profit organizations and small businesses.
- Compliance focus - TIPS is designed to comply with government regulations, making the process easy instead of risking non-compliance from individual negotiators.
- Vetted Vendors - vendors who are awarded a TIPS contract have been thoroughly screened and evaluated for reputation, reliability, and competitive pricing.
How Does TIPS Work?
